IS Senior Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have project management experience in a

• The candidate will be familiar with MS Project, ServiceNow ITBM.
• Should feel comfortable working with technical, and non-technical business customers in developing the project team, developing and executing the project plan based on documented scope.
• Should have a Bachelors degree in appropriate discipline,
• 2-5 years of project management experience in a clinical environment.
• If the candidate does not have clinical experience, but has 10+ years of solid project management experience, they may be considered.

• Responsible for managing projects that will drive and deliver IT change in support of the business strategy
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships, understand business drivers, vet out project requirements, shape the project request, formulate the cost-benefit analysis and risk analysis
• Define roles and responsibilities for all teams and team members, clearly understand the requirements & implications of resource availabilities. Develop resource and backfill plans as required
• Design and conduct readiness and risk assessments, evaluate results, and present findings to IT & business leadership in a structured and detailed manner
• Develop and execute project management plans, manage risks, influence quality, manage stakeholder expectations and ensure prudent use of resources that contribute towards project benefits realization
• Ensures that assigned projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Acts as an advisor to the IT program team regarding projects, tasks, scheduling, resources, and operations
• Responsible for project tracking, issue tracking, and timely issue resolution and communications
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project teams
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
• Understands the business sufficiently to communicate the importance of projects to technology teams, as well as understand technology sufficiently to communicate complexity in simple terms
• Lead multiple simultaneous strategic projects
• Strictly adheres to formal project management, best process

• Proven organizational skills to multi-task and manage programs/projects involving cross-functional teams at varying levels of complexity and completion while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct and influence large, complex cross-functional teams or projects, including direct interaction with senior level managers and stakeholders
• Expertise with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Superior negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Detailed understanding of project lifecycles in complex technical environments
• Ability to self-motivate, adapt, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality

• Experience with infrastructure implementation, operating system upgrades, technical migration, data center integrations, etc.
• Experience managing contracts that provide high-end IT solutions, including software development, data integration, data management, and data security
• Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
