Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Administration, and/or related field or equivalent experience, plus 5 years of related experience or Master's degree plus 3 years of related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

With dedication and outstanding leadership skills, you'll be involved in every phase of an application throughout its lifecycle, consulting and collaborating with business leaders, end users, IT staff, vendors and other third parties. Your tasks include job automation, running batch jobs, running SQL scripts, reviewing logs, system and application monitoring, maintenance, patch management, software upgrades, file transfers, backups, incident/problem troubleshooting and support. You'll also ensure that the application layer is optimally configured for seamless integration and operability with OS, database, middleware, network, web services, and other interrelated technological components. We'll rely on you to monitor and enforce compliance of regulatory requirements like Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and corporate information security policies which includes ensuring appropriate documentation for system configuration, change control, access control, and system logs.

Job Description:

Administer applications in the classified networks accessible from Dedham MA, Taunton MA, or Scottsdale AZ facilities in addition to supporting applications on the enterprise network or cloud infrastructure. The main applications that the applicant will be responsible for include IBM Rational CLM/ELM Suite, IBM Rational DOORS, and IBM Rational ClearCase. General knowledge of software development methodologies and the ability to pick up new applications is beneficial. The position may also be asked to take on administrative duties of other engineering applications like Maximo and various DevSecOps applications

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Administration, and/or related field or equivalent experience, plus 5 years of related experience or Master's degree plus 3 years of related experience
  • Excellent experience supporting critical application software (local, network installed and SaaS) to include medium to complex troubleshooting, research, ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, and maintain procedural documentation
  • Solid knowledge on server architecture and understanding of virtualization technologies, storage systems, enterprise security practices, and replication technologies
  • Solid understanding of the Internet and its key configuration components (e.g. DNS, http, IP addressing, Subnetting), and different methods of file transfer (e.g., FTP, SFTP, FTPS, NDM)
  • Solid understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g. DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.)

  • Solid knowledge of SQL scripts and other scripting languages, and experience with batch automation and automation tools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Comfortable administering applications on Linux or Windows servers (must have)
  • General knowledge of software development methodologies (must have)
  • Experience administering IBM Rational CLM/ELM Suite of applications
  • Experience administering IBM Rational ClearCase or IBM Rational DOORS (or both)
  • Local to Dedham MA, Taunton MA, or Scottsdale AZ is a MUST (periodic on site will be required)
  • Security +, CISSP, or equivalent security certification (nice to have)
  • Experience administering IBM ClearCase/ClearQuest
  • Experience administering IBM Rational DOORS
  • Git / GitLab knowledge
  • Ansible experience
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience
  • Maximo admin experience
