WHAT YOU'LL DO As an IT HR Senior Business Analyst, on BCG's IT HR Systems Group you will have the responsibility for functional & technical support of cloud-based BCG's global HR application on Workday. You will work to provide an ongoing support on Workday ranging from enhancement requests, day to day operational activities, & working with Developers to advocate and support end user requirements.   • Ability to partner with the business to understand needs and translate them into technology requirements, using a consultative approach to understand the system functionality and apply that knowledge to solutioning / working with the business on process efficiencies
  • Functional & technical support on Workday
  • Under the direction of the HR Systems Senior Manager, work with the HR & IT HR teams in the planning and execution of application's functional/technical projects
  • Manage and configure updates to Workday by partnering with the product team, documenting requirements, tracking updates through Jira, and managing updates through sprint process
  • Be the voice of the customer, advocate on behalf of our user base to increase their experience and satisfaction with Workday
  • Have overall responsibility for the health of the core HR application, in terms of quality of operational effectiveness from a functional & technical standpoint
  • Work closely with software vendor in the planning and design of application changes (including upgrades) and coordinating on delivery and deployment processes
  • Stay abreast of functional & development tools, trends and practices, and act as an evangelist for items that should be considered for future initiative
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Lead requirements, design and configuration workshops for implementation projects as well as enhancement projects
  • Create clear and comprehensive specification documents for application modifications and new functionality additions, for Workday
  • Manage and implement application configurations
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high quality prior to deployment
  • Experience working with customers to gather requirements and translating them into system/technology requirements is a must
  • History of working with confidential data is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience in a technical support and/or software development role preferred.
  • Experience supporting large corporate applications and systems.
  • Experience in the HR domain and on Workday is required.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including debugging and analysis of performance issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with users and provide a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Able to generate reports based on raw data (Strong Excel & PowerPoint Experience).
  • Experience in a Global environment preferred.

  • Other members of the HR IT team, including Workday Delivery Team
  • Global HR stakeholders to prioritize, document, and test enhancements to existing systems
  • Development and QA Teams on enhancements
