IT Project Manager

Description:6 months. Remote.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and direct tasks on project plan for implementation of Advancement CRM project
  • Ensure project is delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Analyze project proposals to ascertain time frame, funding limitations, and appropriate processes
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks
  • Present at committee meetings as required
  • Implement communication and training plan
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
  • Lead and motivate team members throughout project life cycle and consult with project staff to outline work plan
  • Institute work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations, or phases, and arrange for recruitment/assignment of project personnel
  • Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in PPM
  • Conduct risk assessment and implement mitigation plans
  • Oversee project activities to ensure timeliness, quality, and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content
  • Follow Project Management Methodology

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or related field
  • At least 5 years of IT and business problem solving experience
  • At least 3 years of business unit experience
  • Project management, general business management, or equivalent related IT experience
  • Experience managing Salesforce Lightning UI, Marketing Cloud, Cvent, UC Innovation’s Ascend CRM, and/or Banner Advancement module
  • Experience leading and managing cross functional and technical teams
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (agile, PMI)
  • Experience using project planning like Jira and Microsoft Project
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Ability to set and manage customer expectations
  • Solid understanding of current and emerging technologies and how they can drive digital business
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • PM training and certification a huge plus
