Responsibilities:
-Participate in all client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with consultants.
-Manage, coordinate, and serve as the lead in preparing all contract documents/construction drawings
-Effectively communicate and coordinate with all design team members, including full coordination with project
consultants (e.g., civil/Site engineers, MEP engineers, code consultants, etc.).
-Handles routine communications with the consultant team, client, and general contractor during the project.
-Plan and strategize your workflow to assess what needs to be done and communicate with the team ahead of time to
ensure productivity on projects and that work is proceeding in a timely manner
-Communicates regularly to Project Managers on the status of projects and the training of Designers and Drafters
-Review submittals and perform construction administration
-Assist with and attend public hearings such as planning board, zoning board, and design review board
Qualifications:
-Positive, upbeat personality
-Proficiency in Revit is a must. We are an all-Revit firm. Lumion experience is also helpful.
-Flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask
-Organized with keen attention to detail
-Service-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
-Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with min. five years of experience in an architectural firm setting
-Demonstrated experience in technical drawing production
-Ability to self-motivate while also having the positivity and flexibility to work as a team member
-Experience coordinating and managing construction drawing sets, with solid construction detailing, materials, and
methods knowledge. Familiarity with finishes and furniture is a plus.
-Ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication
