EPP/SPD Technical Support Representative

100% onsite at Foxboro, MA, will be trained up first couple of weeks. 5 day work week, 4 hours a day. Flexible on working hours within a normal business week.

possible temp to hireNo travel, MS Teams video conference interviews1st round interviews with about 2 or 3 selected candidates.Technical manufacturing background is helpful.Testing individual products that come in.Will be required to take all SE safety trainings, electrical, log out tag out.Testing, evaluating and documenting daily on products they work on.Will be working in a very clean organized lab space shared with other techs and teams.Some manual labor to move equipment and store away.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned laboratory tasks efficiently with and w/o supervision
  • Perform basic analysis of electronic circuits and devices to determine their performance characteristics
  • Provide accurate and concise documentation of test results
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe lab facility.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies and current sources
  • Utilize hand tools ( various plyers, cutters, electrical and manual screw drivers)
  • Receive and track EPP/PSI/SPD products and documents into the system
  • Ship/Fwd products and documents to designated teams and customers

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience
  • Knowledge and practice of Laboratory Safety Rules
  • Basic understanding of electricity and household electrical systems
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience operating laboratory test equipment. Includes various hand tools (plyers, cutters, electrical and manual screw drivers)
  • Possess fluent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to operate in a Windows environment.
