Lead Java AWS Engineer

:Role involves hand-on development, testing and fielding questions from stakeholders from IT and business. In this role, you will work on Products that involve Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservice Architectures, AWS, REST, JSON.The candidate will be expected to lead a team of developers and provide technical solutions to roadblocks related to development activities in addition to team management and client interaction.

Requirements:
  • 8-12 years in Full Stack engineering – Java/Spring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field
  • Front End Engineering Experience
  • Java Expertise with experiences using J2EE, Eclipse IDE, Spring, Springboot, Kafka/JMS, Bootstrap, MQ, Web Services, ANT
  • Candidates need to have experience developing both Front End (30%) and Back end (70%) development. Candidates are expected to have experience working with various APIs, external Services and relational Databases
  • Experience with AWS using ECS, S3, Dynamo, SQS, SNS and Lambda server less applications/microservices
  • Certifications in Java, AWS, Kubernetes or similar areas – Preferred
Experience with build/deployment pipelines and best practices (GIT/Terraform)
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Git, Dynamo experience
  • Experience working on back end systems
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement
  • Strong knowledge of the software development process
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop cloud based applications
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement practices
  • Experience working in agile environment
