Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Loan Servicer/Administrator to join our team in the banking industry, located in Needham, Massachusetts. As a Loan Servicer/Administrator, you will be expected to handle a variety of responsibilities related to loan processing and customer service. Responsibilities Accurate and efficient processing of new loans and loan modifications. Serve as a backup for handling taxes and insurance-related queries. Maintain and update loan files, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place. Perform updates in the Core System, including daily, weekly, and monthly rate indexes. Handle E-Oscar requests and process returned checks/ACH in line with bank procedures. Prepare payoff quotes following established departmental procedures. Conduct thorough reviews of loan modifications and conversions. Process payments related to investor and participation loans as well as swap loan payments. Perform monthly reconciliation for participation/swap loans with Needham Bank as lead. Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and accurately. Requirements Proven experience in the banking industry, with a focus on loan administration and servicing. Strong understanding of mortgage operations and the ability to navigate mortgage documents with precision. Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and documentation. Proficiency in using banking software and systems for loan processing and administration. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong analytical skills to assess loan applications and make sound decisions. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to loan administration. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
