Job Description

Aloha is an all-new investment operations platform that provides extensive asset class and functional support across the front, middle and back office. Built natively for the cloud with advanced technology, Aloha features an innovative user experience, actionable monitors, notifications and alerts infused with AI.

The Manager of Cloud Infrastructure and Applications Engineering is responsible for:

Managing day to day operation across a globally disbursed team.
Developing roadmaps and KPI's for measured delivery across responsibility areas.
Implementation and improvement of Kubernetes clusters and application monitoring and alerting in a private cloud
Build out, automation and maintenance of highly available Kubernetes clusters and applications
Ability to enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems
Create DR processes and tools to ensure outages result in no/minimal service disruption

Work closely with the Test Automation, Build & Release and Security Teams to ensure we deploy and identify cyber-security measures, collaborate on test improvement opportunities and more across the DevOps organization.
A keen eye for diagnosis, troubleshooting and debugging of enterprise, distributed, horizontally scalable , messaging-based cloud applications

You'd be a great Cloud Infrastructure and Application Engineering Manager if you're strong in the following skills:

4+ years managing globally disbursed teams.
4+ years of experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes orchestration and management
4+ years of Kubernetes deployment and manifest management experience with Helm
7+ years of Linux OS and shell scripting (at least one of sh , ksh , csh , Python). Operations management experience in Linux.
Experience with Terraform for VM provisioning and Ansible/SALT or similar for configuration management.
Monitoring and Alerting skills with Prometheus, Grafana and related plug-ins

Working experience with ELK/Beats for log-shipping, Kafka for messaging
NoSQL/MongoDB/Cassandra experience in addition to traditional relational DB/SQL Server/ mySQL
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
Git/GitHub and similar version control tooling
Comfort in an Agile, Sprint -based SDLC with Jira and Confluence
