Manager, Technology Svs, 1 year term, Benefits Eligible (Job Code: M58126)

This position is responsible for the oversight of the sections national mission critical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the supporting application and infrastructure providing financial services for military personnel deployed in the field on a 24x7x365 basis.
  • Independently develop and manage national projects.
  • Participate in the development of technology roadmaps (Technology evaluations, Architecture design reviews), and long term capacity planning.
  • Functions as FRIT and Federal Reserve System project and product liaison to assist end user organizations in determining information systems requirements and solutions within the scope of the enterprise services. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for use within the section and at times throughout the organization.
  • Vendor relations and management. Manage the sections budget. Employee management including performance appraisals and development plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA's), change management policies, and security policy. Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position is required to directly supervise 2-8 employees.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT field, and a minimum of 8 years of job-related experience.
  • Individual must be knowledgeable in one or more of the following technologies; Microsoft Windows, MS Sequel Server, Active Directory, LDAP/PKI Directory, Meta Directory, Domain Name Services (DNS), enterprise firewalls, proxy/caching services, routing/switching, load balancing, network security, and SMTP email.Security and Information Technology Certifications helpful.Project Management Certifications desirable.
