As our new Managing Consultant in Air and Climate, you will be part of Ramboll’s

Environment & Health Division. This group includes professionals passionate about air

quality and environmental compliance, supporting clients in addressing complex

regulatory and technical challenges. The team provides services across a range of areas,

including air permitting, emissions estimation, regulatory compliance, control technology

assessments, air dispersion modeling, and preparation of air quality and compliance

reports.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Serving as the technical lead, overseeing consultant-level staff on complex air

quality projectsCritically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental

regulations, with a focus on air complianceMaintaining client relationships and managing deliverables to meet client needs

efficiently and to the highest qualityPreparing air quality permit applications and environmental reports across a range

of complexity levels and for a range of industry typesEstimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution

point is:B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, Atmospheric

Science, or a related physical science with strong quantitative coursework. PE

certification a plus9+ years of air quality consulting experience, including air permitting, compliance,

and/or air dispersion modelingDemonstrated project management experience, including proposal development,

managing scope, schedule, budgets, and multidisciplinary project teamsExperience with client relationship management, and business development

effortsStrong understanding of air pollution control technologies and air dispersion

modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD)Experience interpreting and applying federal and state air regulations, including

Clean Air Act programs (e.g., NSR/PSD, Title V, NSPS and NESHAP); multi-state

experience desirableDemonstrated experience preparing air permit applications, including NSR/PSD

and Title V, encompassing emissions calculations, regulatory applicability analysis,

application preparation, and agency coordination through permit issuanceProven ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients,

regulators, and stakeholders, including presentations and regulatory interactionsAdvanced proficiency in Excel; experience with programming (e.g., Python, R),

databasesDemonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff in technical and consulting

At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that

support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated

base salary range for this position is $115,500 - $150,000 per year. This range reflects

the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual

compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education,

and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ

depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this

position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer

a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development,
