Sirtex is seeking a highly motivated 2026 Summer Intern to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. As an intern, you can make an impact on the business as well as continue to build your analytical, technical and leadership skills.NOTE: candidates must live locally and be able to report daily to the Wilmington, MA facilityKey responsibilities and accountabilities:The selected intern will be working with a Mfg. Eng. (or Supervisor) and will:Provide engineering support to Production via evaluation of processes, troubleshooting products, etc.Assess current processes for purpose of identifying inefficiencies. Work in cross-functional teams to drive change and improvement to processes related to safety, quality, cost, and serviceability.Provide support in creating / modifying procedures, processes, and specifications.Evaluate designs and document fixtures and tooling for Production in support of process and yield improvements and EHS issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The student intern will support the team through the following:Assist in design and development of manual or automated tooling fixtures under engineer supervision.Support engineering evaluations.Help prepare technical documentation.Collect and analyze production or lab data to support tooling and process improvement projects.Provide hands-on assistance in lab prototypes, basic assembly, simple measurements, and test preparation.Perform other tasks as assigned by engineering mentors.Perform other duties as assigned.
