The Mechanical Engineering department leads in the mechanical hardware design, development, and production of weapons systems. We use state-of-the-art tools, processes, and technology, with capabilities encompassing a broad range of technical disciplines, including product engineering, manufacturing, technical services, materials engineering, analysis and test, rapid hardware development/builds and configuration and data management documentation.The Rapid Hardware Solutions (RHS) department is chartered to deliver agile services. We bridge across Operations and Engineering, providing solutions through the execution of quick-turn design, procurement, manufacturing, and environmental test services.The RHS directorate is looking for an individual to perform the role of a Scheduler in the Rapid Hardware Solutions organization (RHS). This position is in Tewksbury, MA (On-site position).What You Will DoThis role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives of achieving/exceeding cost, quality, schedule, and safety goals. These teams include project management, technical support, manufacturing and design engineering, quality, material planners, Environmental Health and Safety, and facility maintenance. Performance criteria for this position includes identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using Raytheon Technologies (RTX) CORE and lean manufacturing methodologies.This position is for an established professional in Scheduling who works under general supervision, prepares production reports, compiles information, arranges for delivery and shipments, and liaises with suppliers.

Plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules.

Prepares and maintains production reports so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.

Organizes and arranges for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite the flow of materials and meet production schedules.

Compiles information and makes recommendations that impact production rates and progress, materials inventory, materials used, or customer information.

Plans, schedules, and arranges for internal shipments and identifies material shortages to minimize disruptions to the operations schedule.

Plan, schedule and release work orders and requisitions for all materials assigned to meet the demand of the customer and maximize production productivity.

Coordinating production workflow for multiple products over multiple lines of production.

Monitor shop standard hardware carousel and ensures adequate stock is maintained.

Monitors non-conforming racks to ensure that the proper stakeholders are informed on a daily basis.

Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems

Willingness to take ownership of coordinating shop floor schedule based on program priorities, material availability and manpower demands

Experience with kit verifications, ensuring parts match the information on the parts lists

Key stakeholder in weekly priorities meetings

Ability to review documents, such as drawing, parts list, schematic diagram, prior to releasing a job to assembly

Ensures timely processing of CMES and PRISM transactions to initiate and close out shop orders

Ability to work closely with planners, stores manager, operations and material handlers to track material movement between sites

Coordinates with cell lead, lead engineers, planners, and represented employee staff daily to drive seamless operations

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or equivalent experience and 2 years professional relevant experience

Experience with SAP, PRISM, CMES and/or Wavetrak.

Experience with data entry using business system tools.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
