This hands-on role requires full accountability and ownership of all tasks, including project execution, sourcing, follow-up, client interaction, and installation. - Design and modify existing and new machinery designs using Solidworks CAD software.
- Work with purchasing and suppliers to procure parts.
- Assemble and test designs to ensure manufacturability.
- Travel to customers' facilities to understand their challenges, assist with installs, and interact with customers as required.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, machine design experience preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Experience specing components such as motors, gearboxes, and other components based on equipment requirements.
- Experience with Solidworks for creating assemblies, parts, and detailed drawings.
- Able to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Hands-on, willing to get your hands dirty, including installing machinery in challenging food manufacturing environments.
- Accountable and reliable takes responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed correctly, on time, and on budget
