Solidus is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with an interest in solving challenging mechanical design problems for medical devices. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of engineers, scientists, and clinicians to design and develop the hardware and embedded controls of a handheld surgical robot for several life-saving interventions. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and interested in learning 3D printing, electrical circuit design, and mechatronics.

This is a hybrid position. The individual selected will be required to be on-site 3 days a week and as required.

Requirements: - ship and an Active Secret Clearance - BS and 2 years of relevant job experience

Required Skills: - SolidWorks - 3D Printing - MATLAB - Technical Writing and Presentation skills

Desired Skills: - Microcontroller programming - Medical device design process - Medical device design testing - User experience studies
