Our Medical Writing and Healthcare Communications team provides medical writing services for the peri- and post-approval phases of the product lifecycle.Discover Impactful Work:As a Medical Writer in Evidera’s Medical Writing and Healthcare Communications team, you will write publications and other scientific communications for internal scientific collaborators and external biotech and pharmaceutical clients. In this position, you will draw on your interests and experience in science, communication, and project management. Your daily work will be to prepare documents that are clear, concise, compelling, scientifically accurate, and aligned with regulations, industry standards, and corporate guidance. You will go beyond simply disclosing information to producing documents that tell a story and, in the end, help improve patient care. You will need to master not only scientific writing but also project management and interpersonal communication. You will be challenged to work at a high level, but you won’t be doing it alone - you will be part of, and be able to benefit from, a team of dynamic and experienced writers.A Day in the Life:On a daily basis, you will write, edit, and handle publications and other scientific communications (e.g., posters, abstracts, slide decks, white papers, and plain language summaries). You will need to work on multiple projects concurrently while remaining on time and within budget and complying with industry standards and internal processes. You will work in close collaboration with a line manager and senior reviewer, be expected to contribute to solving problems, and will frequently collaborate and communicate with scientists, coauthors, and other stakeholders. You will be challenged to master new study designs and clinical areas, as well as the craft of scientific writing.Keys to Success:We are looking for a person who is positive, proactive, and dedicated to a career in publication writing. Education and Experience

Extensive proven experience as a writer of peer-reviewed medical publications (comparable to 2+ years); experience working in a CRO or medical communications agency environment advantageous

Excellent scientific writing and digital literacy

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field; advanced degree preferred

Additional qualifications in medical writing (e.g., AMWA, EMWA, or RAC training; CMPP certification) advantageous

Native or C2 level of written and spoken English

In-depth knowledge of one or more relevant specialty areas of medicine

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Normal and routine office duties.

Domestic and international travel may be required.
