Microbial Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Microbial Quality Control Specialist to support microbiological testing and laboratory operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products through sterility, endotoxin, and bioburden testing, as well as general lab support and data review.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform endotoxin and bioburden testing using standard microbiological methods (e.g., membrane filtration, LAL)Conduct sterility testing and support microbial challenge recovery of drug substances and raw materialsPrepare microbial cultures for validation protocols, developmental studies, and growth promotion testingPerform growth promotion, mold spore suspension, and water activity testingRead and interpret microbial plates and document results accuratelyMaintain lab cleanliness and organization, including cold room 5S, stocking supplies, and general housekeepingReview and verify data for accuracy and compliance with cGMP standardsUtilize LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooks for data entry and tracking
