  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views using T-SQL. Assist/come up with schema design, code review and SQL query tuning.
  • Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.
  • Database optimization, integrity, consistency, security, and privacy.
  • Design logical and physical data models along with capturing, preparing, and presenting statistical information.
  • Develop multi-tier application in C#, WPF, C (will be at familiarity level).
  • Provide support, guidance, and collaboration with other software developers to implement database design and review developer’s work to ensure correct implementation.
  • Create scripts to build and deploy new database objects.
  • Participate in SQL code reviews and PR reviews for database and application code.
  • Upgrade and improve data and application schema.
  • Work in conjunction with the engineering and DBA teams to resolve issues, evaluate software modules, and develop appropriate specifications.
  • Review and recommend improvements to ETL processes.
  • Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.
  • Interact with technical support teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues.
  • Work on automation tests or execute test plans.

Qualifications
  • Expert in database architecture and design, T-SQL, performance tuning, and index analysis
  • Experience developing multi-layer applications using Microsoft technology stack C/C#/SQL server
  • Strong background in object-oriented design and development
  • Humble, team-oriented individual who can work well with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as under management supervision
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Well versed in modern design patterns
  • Good analytical, math and statistics skills.
  • Fast learning capability
  • Positive attitude with eagerness to learn
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of data management engines (performance tuning, transaction isolation levels, data partitioning strategy)
  • Strong knowledge of automation, scripting, job scheduling, capacity management, index maintenance, and running SQL in a virtualized environment.
  • Able to work independently when needed but a strong collaborator able to work with Development teams and others in the organization to drive success
