Middle School Speech Language Pathologist AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a middle school in Concord, Massachusetts, serving 7th and 8th graders. As the SLP for our middle school, you will be responsible for providing evaluation and treatment services to a caseload of approximately 20-25 students. This role involves managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and working with a diverse group of students with speech and language needs. The SLP will work with both students in a sub-separate classroom and those in general education settings, catering to their specific communication and language needs. Responsibilities:
Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for middle school students within the diverse learning program.
Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program
Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs
Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
DESE License eligible in the state of Massachusetts
