Solidus is searching for a System Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to support the special requirements of multiple projects with local and remote locations. The candidate we seek will have radar data analysis experience and will contribute to various efforts related to Ballistic Missile Defense System testing including preparing radar sensors for collection of data on ballistic missile flight tests, development and testing of sensor simulations, training of radar operators, test execution support and post mission analysis of collected data. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to the development and anchoring of radar phenomenology models and the verification and validation of radar simulations.

The group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. They perform detailed system and component engineering, flight and ground test analysis, and advanced capability development in collaboration with the contractors and government program offices that are building the missile defense elements and components.

Required skills: - US Citizenship and able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance - BS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM field. Plus 5 years' experience - Background in radar data analysis - Modeling and Simulation (5 years) - Operations Research (2 years) - Perform Trade Studies (2 years) - GUI Development (2 years) - MATLAB (2 years) - Linux Environment (2 years) or Unix - Ability to work well independently as well as with a team - Must possess excellent communication skills - Potentially be required to come on site 4-5 days a week. - Minimal domestic travel for occasional deployments to test sites to support training; mission execution and on-site quick look data analysis

Preferred skills: - Experience with Electromagnetic Modeling - Experience in missile guidance, navigation and control - Active Secret Clearance
