Solidus is searching for a Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer.

Candidate will join a team that develops and demonstrates advanced sensor system and command and control concepts incorporating emerging signal and data processing algorithms, architectures, and techniques. Qualified individual will have a broad background with relevant sensor system analysis and signal processing experience. Engineer will serve in a support role to help technical staff implement innovations.

Remote: Hybrid

Requirements - ship and able to obtain a Secret Clearance - BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field - 1 year minimum relevant experience

Required Experience - Systems analysis or data analysis - Proficiency with MATLAB - Experience in several of the following fields: sensor systems engineering, radar data analysis, autonomy and machine learning, statistical data analysis - Radar or IR Sensor Modeling - Modeling and Simulation - Perform Trade Studies - Explore innovative techniques and algorithms and understand new developments can affect an existing sensor system`s capabilities - Strong organizational skills - Work as a team and independently - Strong communication skills

Additionally Desired - Master`s Degree - Radar systems analysis - C or C programming - Linux - Python - Ability to participate in field experiments and data collection efforts, which could involve domestic travel (5%)
