AECOM has a career opportunity for a Natural Resource Scientist to join one of the largest and deeply skilled Environmental Planning and Permitting Groups in the Northeast. This position will support projects involving renewable energy (solar, offshore wind and battery storage) siting and permitting, natural resource inventory/habitat assessment and technical reporting and power sector (electric transmission) siting and permitting. Additional work would include supporting coastal/marine studies, fisheries assessments, road and bridge permitting, and supporting a wide variety of projects in the state and local markets and Federal Projects.Responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:Support projects involving renewable energy (solar, offshore wind and battery storage) siting and permitting, natural resource inventory/habitat assessment and technical reporting and power sector (electric transmission) siting and permittingMay also include supporting coastal/marine studies, fisheries assessments, road and bridge permitting, and supporting a wide variety of projects in the state and local markets and Federal ProjectsAttending Client and Project team meetings in an office setting as needed
