Need - Devops Engineer

As Quiet Platforms Inc.’s Senior DevOps Engineer in the platform team you will be responsible to implement the public cloud infrastructure. Quiet Platforms Inc. is building modern supply chain as a service, SaaS systems, ground up. You will be building a multi-tenant SaaS application in cloud with proper security, network, IAM and VPC controls in place. As a Senior DevOps, you will building a state of the art CI/CD pipeline using GitOps model with everything as a code committed to SCM. You would be implementing a fully automated continuous deployment model with staggered rollouts, canary deployment, feature flags, beta releases to production. With Shift left strategy implementation security ops tools and policy enforcements will be part of every step in the SDLC process.

• Implement industry standards, naming conventions, procedures, and guidelines, including audits.
• Communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences and build consensus around them
• Own key relationships both up and downstream of the platform teams to ensure delivery.
• Implement cloud platform infrastructure, tagging, networking, micro-segmentation, VPC & Subnets, firewalls, certificate management, IAM and FinOps.
• Implement cloud storage, backup, high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Adhere to “best-in-class” engineering by ensuring that services and components are: well-defined, modular, secure, reliable, reusable, diagnosable, and actively monitored
• Implement continuous integration, deployment, branching strategies, rollout strategies.
• Prototype and experiment with multiple solutions to evaluate the pros and cons of alternative architectures and designs, and by using data to make decisions
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment processwith everything as infrastructure.
• Conduct periodic security reviews and testing
• Manage automated tests and perform code coverage analysis pipelines
• Contribute to system architecture for scalability, cost efficiency, and security

• 8+ years of experience developing, deploying, testing, and securing large scale full-stack cloud-based web applications
• 5+ years of experience deploying cloud computing architectures in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform including storage, compute and networking capabilities. Google Cloud Platform is a must.
• 5+ years of experience with Java/Python, web and mobile application development, API and Microservices usage
• Experience with CI/CD tools CircleCI, Jenkins, Bamboo, ArgoCD or similar.
• Expertise in Unix or Power shell scripting.
• Understanding of state-of-the-art security requirements for systems that manage consumer data
• Experience with Infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible or similar.
• Experience in software release lifecycle with modern distributed version control (e.g. git)
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong influencer and strong communicator, both written and spoken
