Role: .Net DeveloperLocation: Holyoke, MA (Must be available to work onsite 1-3 days a week)Type: Contract MUST have minimum 5 years’ experience working in UNITED STATES Job description:• The Consultant will actively participate on the team responsible for development and support of internal .NET applications. The Consultant will be required to:• Perform software changes involving Microsoft .NET, SQL and PL/SQL Technologies• Make changes in related software specifications• Assist with the development of test conditions and scenarios Required Knowledge • Microsoft .NET, C#, WinForms, WCF, Web Services (SOAP/REST based), Microsoft web frameworks; Windows operating system, services and commands; SQL & RDBMS; GIT & CVS source code management tool. Experience with 3rd party control libraries like Syncfusion, Telerik RAD etc. Desired Knowledge • Agile Methodology; Linux OS, Java; Automated testing frameworks and QA automation Skills and Attributes • Proven experience with Microsoft .NET development of Windows/Web/WCF applications using C#• Experience with software design and development best practices (e.g. test-driven development, ORM, profiling API, debugging)
