Job DescriptionA Technology Service provider that supports the Secretary of State Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is sourcing for a .NET Full Stack Developer. Joining this team allows you to support legacy applications for News & Events, Records, Publications, Services and more. You will be responsible for maintenance of the many applications within the Secretary's department, along with being involved in implementations, modernizations and optimizations to futurize the applications.To be successful in this position, you must be highly technical with .NET and JavaScript programming languages. You will be partnering with a team of 8+ developers, an infrastructure team, database team, and more to ensure all requirements from the customer are met to fulfil the application needs. The first month, you will join in an orientation program to learn about the Secretary's office and the applications you will be supporting. You must be comfortable commuting onsite to downtown Boston every day of the orientation program. Following the first month, you will be required to be onsite 3 days per week. 5+ years of Software Development experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Advanced with vb.NET or C# programming
- Frontend development experience with JavaScript and AJAX
- Prior experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server for storing and retrieving data State, Government, and/or Federal industry experience null
