One-to-One Mentor for Young Adult with High Functioning Autism

Hours: Part-time 10- 15 hours per week 5 hour shifts

Salary: $34 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced mentor to provide one-to-one support for a young adult with Autism. The ideal person preferably female. Would be dedicated to fostering a supportive and understanding environment to help the individual achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Develop personalized strategies for sensory issues, social and communication skills, and stress management.

Assist with daily living skills and independence.

Provide emotional support and guidance.

Collaborate with family and professionals.

Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

Requirements:

Morning Shift

11am 4 pm Monday, Wednesday Friday

Degree or interested in psychology, special education, social work, or related field.

Experience with autism and related disorders.

Strong understanding of young adults with autism.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
