Description We are seeking an Operations Development Coordinator located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role will be a part time integral part of our team, executing financial and administrative functions across our organization. The individual will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, contributing to the effective execution of revenue generating activities, and maintaining our physical office space. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Must be able to work onsite for 16 hours a week, preferably Tuesday and Wednesdays. Responsibilities: Act as a link between operations and revenue teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of contributed and earned revenue. Assist in planning, implementation, fulfillment, and reporting for revenue generation activities. Carry out data entry and data stewardship as a key Salesforce user. Provide administrative support for both office-based and remote staff members, contributing to the enhancement of policies, systems, and processes. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all contributed and earned revenue, including cash, checks, credit card transactions, securities, and in-kind gifts. Generate and/or obtain reports from all payment processors and platforms, assisting with monthly revenue reconciliation and annual audit requests. Process receipts and acknowledgements for donors, sponsors, in-kind services contributors, event attendees, auction participants, and merchandise buyers as needed. Maintain accurate data entry and management, creating, updating, and maintaining records in Salesforce and fundraising platforms according to established standards. Serve as a representative of our organization, ensuring consistent and positive customer-service orientation for internal and external constituents. Support accounting and finance staff with ongoing and annual accounting and audit procedures through file maintenance and retrieval, report generation, and other general assistance.Requirements Proficiency in using donor database software is essential for managing and updating donor information Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed for data analysis and reporting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Experience in operations, project management, or related field is preferred Possess strong organizational skills for efficient workflow management Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Understanding of process improvement methodologies and operational efficiency.
