Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Paralegal in the Education industry, based in the Greater Boston area. The role primarily involves reviewing contracts, supporting risk projects related to privacy, and working extensively with data collection and Excel. Responsibilities: Reviewing contractual terms, assessing risks and edits, and ensuring contracts are finalized for signature. Providing support to attorneys with a focus on projects related to privacy. Conducting extensive data collection and Excel work, including pulling data from various sources within the organization. Aggregating totals by entity and figuring out the amount of data and countries involved. Working with research agreements, non-sponsored research agreements, and student activity agreements. Utilizing skills in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and iManage among others. Ensuring efficient processing of customer applications. Maintaining accurate customer records and resolving customer inquiries. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as required. Supporting the risk office in their projects as needed. Conducting contract-related research as required. Requirements Holds a degree in Law or related field. Experience as a Paralegal in the education sector is preferred. Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat is essential. Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS). Experience with Case Management Software and CompuLaw is beneficial. Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively. Proven experience in Briefing and Calendar Management. Must have experience in Claim Administration. Excellent Communication skills are required. Proficiency in iManage software is desirable.
