Part-Time Accountant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Part-Time Accountant in New Bedford, Massachusetts, 02740, United States. The role involves assisting with financial and accounting tasks for multiple subsidiaries within the industry. Responsibilities: Carry out accounting functions for multiple subsidiaries. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Conduct account reconciliations to detect and rectify discrepancies. Review financial statements to identify and address potential issues. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Oversee the processing of $50M in revenue, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
