Part-Time Sales Associate at PINCH, artisan gallery/shop

PINCH, a busy artisan gallery/shop in downtown Northampton, seeks a long-term part-time sales associate. We are looking for a good fit for our busy, creative, customer-service-oriented shop. If you have an interest in hand-crafted pottery, jewelry, and art, and enjoy connecting with people, we're interested in hearing from you.

The position involves helping customers, using the computer to ring in sales and receive products, visual merchandising, processing and shipping online orders, restocking products, etc.

Applicants should be outgoing, energetic, like to keep busy, friendly, and present a professional appearance and upbeat attitude. Previous retail experience and computer skills a must.

This position will have a (mostly) regular schedule of 2-3 shifts a week, some evenings and weekends included. The applicant will also be able to fill in on an as-needed basis when other employees are out or at busy times of the year.
