Sierra-Cedar is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Functional PO/AP/Assets Lead to join our robust PeopleSoft practice. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide key PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as Subject Matter Expert and leading clients through the entire systems development life cycle in PO/AP/Assets
  • Work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and testing
  • Assist clients in fully integrating the system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices
  • Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
  • Configure the system to meet each client’s unique business requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
  • 6+ years' PeopleSoft experience; preference in a Public Sector, Commercial or Higher Education project environment
  • PeopleSoft v9.2 experience
  • Full lifecycle implementation and upgrade experience with PO/AP/Assets modules
  • Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on business processes against the state and federal regulations
  • Ability to perform a system fit/gap analysis on the use of delivered PeopleSoft functionality
  • Ability to re-design business processes from the ground up for efficiency and to complement the use of the PeopleSoft Procurement module
  • Ability to prepare functional system requirements for system changes to support new business processes
  • Minimum of five years PeopleSoft Procurement experience
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Procurement 9.1/9.2 functionality including check reissuance and commitment accounting
