SUMMARY:Perform a variety of production related responsibilities to include formulating, filling, packaging, cycle counts and bin location maintenance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform batch manufacturing with direction/coordination from supervisor and formulators. This includes weighing to decimal accuracy, following and completing factory orders accurately, and following ISO9000 procedures.
Perform filling and packaging requirements, which includes drum and pail/box packaging of products with proper labeling.
Physically cycle count packaging components, sub assemblies, raw materials, and wips according to company standards.
Investigate discrepancies in cycle count numbers versus perpetual inventory, report results and recommend appropriate corrective action utilizing JDE system and other sources.
Assign, change and perform bin location maintenance of JDE system.
Perform daily tasks such as cleaning mixers/cans, maintaining safety and housekeeping duties, disposing of hazardous material and maintaining inventory.
Promote, support and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
Ability to frequently lift 50lbs, move drums, using proper equipment and lifting techniques Position requires reaching, pulling, and bending.
Ability to perform accurate computer data entry and navigate the JDE inventory control system.
Ability to interpret factory orders, record results, and perform basic math including decimals and formulas.
Ability to tolerate exposure to chemicals
Ability to interpret MSDS’s and understand Hazardous Identification System.
Work effectively with co-workers to successfully resolve inventory discrepancies.
