Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience in backend development. You will be developing industry changing solutions, while working with a talented team. This full-time role requires you to be on-site in Andover MA 4 times a week, may be subject to change. You will be responsible for leading the development of software services for our client's micro fulfillment retail automation technology. • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• 8+ years of experience with Java programming
• 6+ years of experience with NoSQL
• Minimum BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related

• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with kafka
• Experience with ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ

• 80% backend
