Product Manager, Catastrophe Modeling

 Provide thought leadership based on experience with insurance and reinsurance terms, data coding challenges, and risk modeling needs of the industry.Discover problems in the market with gaps in coding policies, financial modeling, and validating assumptions by interviewing customers, recent evaluators and untapped potential customers.  Validate problems to show their pervasiveness in the market.Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market.  Assess their strengths and weaknesses.  Develop a strategy for winning against the competition.Demonstrations, presentations and discussions with clients.Contribute to product roadmaps, ideate on product definition, create feature overviews and help with design, development and quality of products.Define pre-launch, post-launch and go to market phases and lead conversations on licensing, pricing, deployment for the initiative, function or product as needed.Advocate for best product management practices and process improvements.
