The Product Support Assistant is a vital member of Instron’s Service Organization, based in Norwood, MA, and reporting to the Service Product Manager. This position is responsible for administrative support for our value-added Service products, including validation documentation packages and the digital knowledge base library. The Product Support Administrator plays an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction through the accuracy and efficiency of their work. The successful candidate will be highly skilled at prioritizing a varying workload and delivering high quality work. This role will interface with the Technical Support team to migrate existing Service support content into our digital knowledge-based application and generate and deliver documentation packages based on customer demand. You will also support our global Sales and Service teams to ensure order accuracy for value-added Service products. This position offers considerable potential for growth given the exposure across cross-functional working teams and visibility to the company’s product catalog.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Manage user account creation and access levelsMonitor revision changes and update documents and systemsConvert Service instructions and procedures into digital flow charts/workflowsCollect and consolidate customer feedback for review with product managementGenerate, run, and format reports/spreadsheets for orders and usageProduce, print, and ship document packages in time for scheduled on-site visitsMonitor and maintain necessary office supply inventory for department needs
