Solidus is searching for a Programmer.

Successful candidates will join a team that is focused on the synthesis of dynamic and complex control and autonomous systems, from concept to realization, for a wide variety of prototypes. Prototype applications span various mission areas, such as space control; air, missile, and maritime defense; communication and tactical systems; homeland protection; and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems. Programmer will be involved in working closely with a small team to design, implement, and test real-time software for space applications.

Requirements - ship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred - Ability/willingness to upgrade to a Top Secret Clearance upon starting - Bachelor's Degree - 5 years' minimum relevant experience

Required Experience - COSMOS - Scripting languages i.e., Python or Ruby - Linux or Windows programming with socket servers/clients, serial/UARTs, and other common communications protocols - Real-Time Embedded Systems (RTOS, VxWorks, Xenomai, Linux) - Communication Protocols (USB, Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, SPI) - Embedded software - Integration and testing in a laboratory setting - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Able to work in a team-oriented environment

Additionally Desired - Agile Development Process - Space-Based Systems Familiarity - C/C Programming - GIT/GITHUB - Ruby on Rails experience - Familiarity with JIRA / Confluence - Continuous integration - Experience with test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, emulators, and digital multi-meters
