Programmer - RTOS for Space

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Description:

Responsibilities involve working closely with a small team to design, implement, and test real-time software for space applications.

Hands-on real-world experience with the following is required:

- Scripting languages such as Python or Ruby

- Linux or Windows programming with socket servers/clients, serial/UARTs, and other common communications protocols

- Some embedded software experience

- Integration and testing in a laboratory setting of all of the above

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

The following skills and experience are desired:

- Real-time software development in C or C

- Software systems for space applications

- Agile methods

- Git, Ticketing/Issue tracking systems such as Jira, Continuous integration systems such as Bamboo

- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, logic analyzers, and frequency counters for testing the software in a hardware environment.
