Job Description

This position will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating project plans, meetings and keeping stakeholders informed of the project status using effective project management tools and practices.

The HR Technology Project Manager will facilitate discussion with HR process owners and project leads to identify and document risks and interdependencies and then facilitates the mitigation plans. The role would also be responsible for coordinating change plan communications to ensure optimal implementation and minimal disruptions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and execute HR Technology projects from inception to delivery, serving as the primary point of contact between all stakeholders to ensure deliverables are on track and drive successful project outcomes.

Develop project plans, ensure all requirements are captured accurately, establish priorities, and manage the resource alignment and budget.

Track and communicate project status, risks, and emergent issues. Ensure shared understanding of project goals and success criteria across the entirety of the project team. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Plan and coordinate testing efforts for project changes impacting upstream and downstream systems and reports from each stakeholder persona's point of view.

Stay up to date on best practices and tools to identify to help manage projects and shifting priorities.

Lead risk and opportunity management ensuring mitigation, migration and implementation, communication and training plans are in place and executed to support project objectives and timelines

Provide guidance and direction to the project team to achieve customer expectations, project cost, schedule, and technical goals

Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and scheduling expenditures.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in managing projects in HR Technology space.

Knowledge of JIRA or other Project Management, Portfolio, or Sprint Management systems are a must.

Familiarity with Workday is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in working with HR Technology partners.

Experience in client management and working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Excellent change management, leadership, and analytical skills.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles.

Comfortable with fast changing environment with an ability to adapt as needed.

Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, taking initiative and/or lead role as necessary

Strong communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and social/EQ skills, with the ability to clearly communicate across all levels.

The ability to manage multiple priorities is required as is professional maturity regarding handling of confidential information

Demonstrated competency in managing resources to meet project goals
