Job SummaryStrategic Access Transformation (SAT) is an Enterprise-wide (co-sponsored by Hospital and Physician Organization) transformational initiative to vision and execute towards a Revenue Cycle of the future through standardizing processes, automation, and innovation. The Project Manager II leads and oversees multiple medium to large multi-disciplinary projects of high strategic priority and varying levels of complexity. These projects often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration across the Enterprise. Will advise the administrative leadership, clinical leadership, and other key stakeholders of the Enterprise on how processes can be improved, implemented, and tracked over time. Also provides analytical support, process improvement strategy, and identify cost management recommendations to SAT Leadership and beyond. Will also serve as a collaborative change agent and provides constructive leadership within the institution.

This Project Manager II- SAT will be responsible for:
  • Leads and oversees multiple medium to large multi-disciplinary projects of high strategic priority and varying levels of complexity, through all phases from initiation/planning through the execution and delivery of the contract concluding with project transition and close, ensuring a successful project.
  • Consults with organizational stakeholders. Identify and use appropriate project management tools and concepts. Develops and execute work plan. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency. Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Creates work products and project deliverables independently. Understand and meet expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness. Oversee the creation of work products by others to ensure quality.
  • Conducts and/or supports complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of project data, summarizes findings, draws appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicates results to team. Manage and direct regulatory/ reporting activities related to projects (e.g., IRB, updates/ reports to funding agencies, etc.)
  • Facilitates Enterprise relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manages communication to and relationships with key project stakeholders (internal and external) and institution-wide. Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal communications. Facilitate group discussions. Keep team members appropriately informed.
  • Supports research and project management for Enterprise projects across all phases of the project life-cycle. Develop tools and processes and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintains Strategic Access Transformation operations and infrastructure, including project requests, assessment, and portfolio.
  • Assists in mentoring junior-level staff in developing realistic goals and monitor ongoing development (as appropriate).

In order to qualify, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 years relevant experience; 2 years’ experience managing multiple highly complex projects preferred.
  • Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Effectively manage multiple demands and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate success in the application of quantitative analytics to inform and influence stakeholders, and to achieve defined project goals
  • Advanced knowledge of manual and web-based applications for collecting/ reporting data
  • Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement and/or process improvement activities, and advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis.
