Project Manager, Secure Research Computing (FISMA/FedRamp)

As a member of the Project Management Office within the Medical School IT department the Project Manager will establish and implement the project management discipline to guide and plan for project success from project inception through project completion. The project manager will be assigned to one or more highly complex technology projects or programs that span multiple functional areas and technology units within Med School and IT Department.

REQUIRED SKILLS

:

  • Strong Project Management Experience
  • Ability to Manage and support multiple Projects simultaneously
  • Project Management Experience in Research Computing Environments (FISMA/FedRamp)
  • Strong Cross-functional experience

DESIRED SKILLS

:

  • Experience in Medical IT; Medical School research environments
  • Proven experience managing FISMA/FedRamp projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

:

  • Primary assignment is to support various projects associated with Secure Research Computing Environments (FISMA/FedRamp)
  • Manage Projects from initiation and scope, through requirements gathering, planning, implementation, and close out, focusing on process, documentation, and communication.
  • Lead the stakeholder communications program; coordinating directly with functional process and data owners to understand and incorporate multiple functions and user perspectives into the project and plan for successful user acceptance testing and rollout to meet end user needs and school objectives.
  • Seek out and coordinate with other IT leaders and project managers, technologists, and support staff to ensure projects are planned for successful transition to production support, and to improve the maturity of the IT Project Management processes and toolsets for enhanced collaboration across IT and the Med School.
