Salary: $23.00/Hourly on W2

Role Description: The

Quality Inspector must have at least 3+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for visually and mechanically inspecting a wide variety of mechanical products and the setting up of standard measuring equipment to verify product, material and equipment conformance to customer/company specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities: - Works with complex blueprints, assembly prints and specifications; visually and mechanically inspects parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies on most company products to ensure conformance to production specifications and quality standards. - Performs the more standardized incoming, first piece, in-process, final floor, or bench inspection on a variety of parts and products. Generates QC documents as required. - Sets up and performs complex mechanical inspections. - Uses surface plate setups to maintain correct geometry during inspections. - Uses such equipment as scales, vernier, height sticks, micrometers, Rockwell tester, plug gauges, coordinate measuring machine and optical comparators while carrying out inspection procedures. - Prepares reports and summary sheets, makes calculations, and plots graphs indicating rates of acceptance and rejection. - Notifies Inspections and Production Supervisors of quality problems. - Maintains work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition. - May be called upon to perform production testing. - Performs other related duties as directed.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
