Quality Inspector

1st shift – 6:30am-3pm

Temp Position – Approximately 3 months

Duties:

Inspect mattresses for overall cover fit, law tag compliance and ensure correct FR (flame retardant) solution is applied, per mattress specifications

Verify FR batching process is being followed (quilting, FR socking, FR capping, FR fabrics)

Ensure proper covering procedures are being followed

Document standards

Perform root cause corrective actions

Requirements:

At least 1 year of quality control inspection experience

Good written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Keen attention to detail

Basic computer and math skills

Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, and calipers

Microsoft Excel skills

Documentation and reporting skills

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
