Receptionist / Shop Assistant

Are you a hardworking person who thrives in a fast paced work environment? Do you love dogs? Dog Spaw On Main is now hiring a Receptionist / Shop Assistant! Previous experience working in the pet industry is desired, however we are willing to train the right candidate. This position is paid $17-19 hourly (depending on experience), plus tips. It is a year round, full-time position. Hours will be every Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 am -5:30 pm (with 1 Saturday off a month).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Answering phones & and E-mails

- Making and rescheduling appointments

- Checking our clients in and out

- Record keeping in our computer system

- Assisting with shop cleaning and end of day procedures

- Monitoring the dogs in our care

- Assist groomers & bather when needed with various tasks

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must have great customer service

- Must have great communication skills, both written & verbal

- Ability to lift 50lbs

- Must be able to be on your feet all day

- Must work well in a high paced team atmosphere
