Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Research Associate in Woburn, Massachusetts (MA) to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical research organization. The Research Associate will play a significant role in the in the research of novel ultrasensitive immunoassay platforms. Responsibilities for the Research Associate include: • Assist in laboratory research including laboratory analysis, quality control and data management • Develop and optimize methods/SOPs for handling and processing clinical samples • Assist with biochemistry assays such as protein conjugation and purifications • Collect data and maintain proper laboratory documentation according to GDP and regulatory standards • Set up, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment Qualifications for the Research Associate include: • Hands on experience working with Immunoassays • Experience with PCR, protein labeling • Familiarity with HPLC and FPLC techniques • B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or related field Compensation for the Research Associate include: • Salary Range is dependent upon experience • Comprehensive benefits package
