Position Summary

: The Sales Development Director is responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue objectives and sales goals through new business acquisition. They are responsible for prospecting and building C-level relationships, understanding customer business challenges, and identifying and selling through Vericast solutions to meet those challenges. When deals have closed, the Sales Development Director is responsible for transitioning them to the appropriate account support team for account/deal management.

Key Responsibilities

:

· Make sales calls for the purpose of: Identifying and capturing all revenue opportunities, expanding knowledge base of customer business/objectives and requirements, building meaningful value-added relationships, selling the value of Vericast products/services and solutions and work toward establishing partnerships.

· Effectively work through internal processes and procedures to support optimization of Reporting and Sales.

Qualifications

Education & Knowledge

:

· Bachelor’s degree preferably in the fields of Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems

Experience / Skills and Competencies

:

· 7+ years of successful outside sales experience, including lead generation, solution selling and closing sales.

· Hunter mentality required

· Experience and displays proficiency in:

  • Industry: Marketing, Media, Advertising
  • Selling through creating a compelling vision or story
  • Use of data and insights as a selling tool
  • Prospecting/new business development
  • Understanding the Vericast suite of product offerings, including Digital products
  • Selling multiple / integrated product campaigns
  • Understanding of the clients market andcompetitionto offer the best solution

· Experience building and maintaining pipelines, forecasting and reporting

· Strong skills in: qualification, initiative, conceptual selling, overcoming objections, presentation delivery and negotiation

· Highly skilled at bringing deals from prospect to close

· Demonstrates strategic thinking with the ability to convey and implement strategy

. Experience selling SaaS solutions or technology platforms preferred.
