Job Title: SAP FI consultants

Location:

Lowell, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ MonthsCouple main points – SAP FI, need to have US tax experience in SAP, this is 2-3 days per week, 8 hours each day, but flexible with the time. They can work off hours if they have another full time 9-5 type job, but estimate is about 8 hrs/day.They will need to travel onsite (in Lowell, MA) for about 6 weeks total over a 1 year project, probably 2 weeks at a clip and they will pay expenses.
  • Start: Immediately• Duration: April 2022 – March 1st, 2023, planned go-live 01/01/2023• Occupancy: 2-3 days/week• Location: partly on site in (approx. 6 weeks) / otherwise home office
We are looking for

SAP FI consultants for our customer.Your main task is to implement the planned SAP rollout of the FI module in the USA and Canada.

Tasks:
  • Concept creation and customizing• Cost of sales (cost of sales method)• Reporting in FI• Accounting (US GAAP, ASPE for Canada)• US and Canadian tax law• Ideally knowledge of interstate/county tax determination tools

Project scope:
  • Manufacturing unit in Lowell, MA• Many branches (sales, service) in various states of the USA and Canada• Purchase of raw materials and semi-finished products mostly from Germany• Local purchasing (Buy America)• Customer consignment management• Intercompany transactions between the company codes USA, Canada and Germany• Connection of a configuration tool (Apicon CPQ) and various service systems (ServiceNow, SalesForce)
