Scrum Master 4 months Framingham, MA/ REMOTE • No live intake call • Potential to extend • Open to remote and local talent (must work EST working hours; local could possibly work a hybrid schedule but rarely) • Open to contract and contract to perm talent • Top 15 resumes will be shortlisted for HM to review initially • Interview process: one interview with HM and one other Engineer The Buying Portfolio Team thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and addresses their needs which supports the clients initiatives and growth. Our goal is to align the IT delivery with business strategy. Therefore, we seek a motivated, talented, Scrum master to help support the lifecycle of these capabilities and help us build and deploy critical software solutions that support our Global Buying initiatives. Your core responsibilities will include: • Assisting the team to clear obstacles. • Establishing an environment where the team can be effective. • Addressing any team dynamics and supporting the team to control outside interruptions and distractions to meet the team goals. You will work in a fast-paced environment which will challenge you to think creatively and exhibit an agile mindset. Minimum Qualification: • 3-5 years of Scrum master experience (not to exceed 5 years of exp) • Strong working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions • Proven capability of managing multiple priorities effectively and managing stakeholder expectations in potentially high stakes situations • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (including senior management) on issues of strategy, risk, process, and ongoing operations. • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mentor skills • Hands-on experience participating in and leading Scrum/SAFe events, such as Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning • Leads the team's efforts in relentless improvement and facilitates the team's retrospective. • Solid understanding of Jira and Confluence. • Ensures that PI goals and scope are understood by everyone on the Agile/Scrum Team • Responsible for ensuring that the commitment to sprint backlog is completed • Willing and able to hold the team accountable to its goals and objectives • Support Product Owners to define and coordinate feature development across other teams and various IT teams to drive for results • Basic Technical background or understanding of the Azure cloud computing platform is a plus Preferred Qualifications: • Certified SAFe Scrum Master. • Understanding of PaaS software delivery model • Familiarity with the retail industry & best practices • Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced Scrum masters
