Genuent is seeking a Security Analyst for our direct client. Though their preference is the Boston area, candidates can be located anywhere in the US. Security Analyst ContractCandidates must be willing to work Eastern timezone hours Summary:The EIS/SLED (Government Contracts) Information Security Team is currently responsible for the operation/maintenance of Information Security requirements under the EIS Contract, planning how to meet CALNET/SLED requirements and researching DoD CMMC deliverables. Additionally, the team has alternate FSO (Facility Security Officer) responsibilities for the Quincy and Virginia locations. We are also responsible for Application Security activities in IT for Government related development activities. An increasing amount of time is spent with Government proposal and sales teams advising on RFP response. The analyst must have proven analytic capabilities and the ability to collaborate across business disciplines (IT to Finance to Facilities). The candidate must also be able to learn Information Security related applications as an end user. This function includes the Security Auditor role specified in the EIS contract. The individual accepting the position must agree to obtain P2 credential and national Security clearance. All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to analyze daily SIEM reports
  • Ability to analyze daily Okta logs
  • Ability to analyze application logs
  • Ability to execute and interpret Application Security Static and Dynamic tests
  • Analyze connectivity requests to ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmark standards, CMMC and State Information Security policies
  • Knowledge of LogRhythm, Tenable Nessus
  • Ability to monitor and manage a secure SDLC
  • Ability to monitor and manage the EIS/SLED/PCI Vulnerability Management program
  • Intermediate Excel skills to manage large data sets (pivot tables, etc).
  • Knowledge of DoD JPAS/JCAS
  • DoD FSO training
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain National Security clearance
  • Must be willing to obtain a OPM P2 credential
  • DoD Information Security experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Tenable Nessus, LogRhythm, DAST/SAST tools, advanced Word and Excel skills
