The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Working closely with business partners and other stakeholders to define business goals for new technology implementations.
  • Leading elicitation sessions and process modeling to create models/diagrams that translate requirements into design.
  • Proactively working with project stakeholders to document detailed requirements that clearly define the business needs, benefits, and deliverables for each project.
  • Partnering with IT development staff to clarify, estimate, and prioritize software requirements.
  • Acquiring a working knowledge of existing technical processes, and apply this knowledge to assigned tasks and projects.
  • Assisting project team in testing requirements to ensure quality meets stakeholder requirements prior to handover.
  • Conducting business data analytics to provide valuable insights from data to support informed business decision-making
  • Advising stakeholders on opportunities for process improvement with/without leveraging technical solutions.
  • Supporting project management leads in the planning, organization and structuring of software design and implementation efforts.
  • Identifying and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and business metrics.
  • Researching, reviewing, and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Communicating changes, enhancements and modifications of business requirements (verbally or through written documentation), to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Participating in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
  • Analyzing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Developing and conducting peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
  • Suggesting changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations, and then actively participates in the implementation of approved changes.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to more junior resources.

In order to qualify you must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Technology or Healthcare related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification is preferred but no required.
  • Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarizes the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs that cross departmental / divisional lines.
