- Lead integration technical analysis and design efforts for the creation of new, or updates to existing, system integrations and interfaces.
- Preform requirements gathering, development / update of specification documentation, and creation of architecture diagrams.
- Coordinate integration development and testing efforts with technical teams of the source and target systems.
- Perform functional and technical analysis of business practices to define and document current processes, determine solutions with out-of-the-box application functionality or customizations, and recommend process changes to avoid customizations and better adhere to information technology and / or transit industry best practices.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand the business needs and priorities, document requirements, and sequence project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, technical support documentation, and architecture diagrams.
- Assist with technical configuration efforts of HASTUS, including definition of foundational data elements, versioning of data elements, and associated application configuration.
- Provide 2nd / 3rd level support for troubleshooting issues, including issues with application functionality, environment configuration, and system integrations. Escalate items to internal technical teams (Server, Network, Database, etc.) and / or software vendor (GIRO) as needed.
- Provide end-user support and assist with end-user coaching and training, as needed.
- Provide content knowledge and clarifications to QA / Testing team regarding designed behavior of HASTUS to facilitate the creation of testing scenarios and use-cases.
- Work any and all shifts and / or locations as assigned or directed. This may include shifts outside of regular working hours, including early mornings, late at night, and weekends.
- Respond to emergencies a on a twenty four (24) hour, seven (7) day per week basis.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in application analysis and administration, including design, development, implementation, and administration / support.
- Two (2) years to experience with scheduling and / or operations management applications
- Experience in enterprise system and / or application administration
- Interest in working in and learning about the public transit industry
- Experience in the transportation or public transit industry strongly preferred
- Experience with HASTUS or other transit scheduling & operations management applications (ex: Trapeze FX) strongly preferred
